Who Wants to Be an Air Gun Guinea Pig?
Beware of the latest line in less lethal weapons: a scooter equipped with an air gun. Canadian company Lamperd Less Lethal's T3 features an electric vehicle equipped with a pneumatic weapon that can be used for crowd control, reports the Sarnia Observer. The weapon, according to the Observer, will soon be featured on the Discovery Channel's Guinea Pig show.
That's not all -- it also features a fancy sighting systems. "[I]n order to guarantee the bullet hits the intended target, the gun is connected to a holographic sight system, " the article reports. "An eyepiece shows a red target dot, and then transmits an image of the target to a monitor, which relays the information to the gun."
The company says it's selling the weapon to the U. S. Army "to use out-of-country for crowd control," which I presume means Iraq.

Why would they put a weapon that awesome on a pussified little tin scooter that I can kick over with my angry protester buddies?
Why not just shoulder mount the thing like Predator?

What a coincidence, my company is also working on a weapons system to use in 'out of country crowd control" in my case however this means America, since nazi crap like this is banned in europe
That's a very silly vehicle to use for crowd control - you'd be better off on foot.

The weapon looks like a paintball gun, in which case the holo sight isn't going to do much good. The inherant accuracy of a paintball gun is much lower than that of the sight.

I have to agree with the above posts. Part of crowd control is intimidation, this thing looks like it belongs at Disney World. (Looks like a reject from the Wall-E movie) What is the crowd control strategy, incapacitate the rioters through laughter?
