Wow, I love this air purifier. I run it pretty much night and day and I can really tell a difference here. I used to be really affected by allergies, but not with my trusty alen t300. I don't think I really had another episode of my alergies except once, which is pretty amazing considering I live surrounded by trees that spread pollen like crazy. The thing I like it is that it pretty much is the only tower air purifier that really works well -- you'll notice that most 'good' purifiers come in a different form factor (check out the blueair purifiers, for example). That's because the tower form factor is really just marketing hype, spawned by the ion purifier marketting that you've been seeing. But the alan still manages to do it's duty with it's sleek design. Not only that, but replacing it is so simple. The plamsacluster series by sharp isn't nearly as easy to setup, so I highly recommend it for the lazy people out there.
