Roomba > Question

Buy the 5th generation or wait till the 6th generation models drop down?

They have the 5th generations for like $200 or $300 I think.
I think the 6th generation are available too or about $500+
Seems pricey!
I wonder if I should buy it at all, and if so, is the extra money for the 6th generation worth it?

I don't see what kinda technology they could really put in that would make the 6th generation any better... unless the next generation includes rubbing your back, doing your laundry, and making you coffee. If that's true, go for the new one. Otherwise, you probably should get the older one.

I have a romba (got is as a gift for christmas last year so not a new one). It works just fine and I have 2 dogs that shed like crazy. if your cat is a puss it will probably be scared of it at first. Even I was a little freaked to see this thing work the first time. It kind of takes a while to clean but you'll be amazed what it picks up when you clean it out. It doesn't replace the vacume indefinetly. I suggest using it between vacumes.
