see comment above, but apparently the fire is still a little bit aways from her.
She saw the fire spread very fast and threatened the subdivision, but the fire fighters have helicopters in the area dousing the flames.
Looks like help is there!
I told her to get out of there. So she should be on the road soon.

Just wanted to blog real quick, because there's not much else I can do from 300 miles away.
I was online, and my mom was chatting with me at 3:05 pm she said the fire was 300 feet away from her home in Ocean Side.
As I was talking she said the house was on fire, so I told her to get out of there.
That's the last I heard from her. It's been an agonizing 10 minutes.
