Being almost 300 dollars cheaper, you get most of the same good things, except you might have to upgrade to clipless pedals on those weekend trips.

I'm not hardcore when it comes to biking, but I need something that'll get me to work, and at least let me keep up on weekend biking trips (30 miles) with people on real road bikes. Will this bike do the trick?
